Project 365 – December 13th – December 24th

Little late and my aim this morning was to do my project from the 13th – the 29th…but it takes so long to sort through, edit, etc etc and with Oscar and Daisy kicking about, even though John is at home, still seems to be hard to get the time!

Sooo, instead of the final weeks of 2011 I will do the weeks leading up to Christmas.  We have had a lot of fun.  There has been snow at times, sleet, hail, slush, winds so bad you couldn’t get outside and oh yeah the rain!  We were all hoping for a white Christmas, especially us as this could be our last one here, who knows what will happen in the next 12 months.  But alas Oscar was gutted as the promised snow did not appear.  We had a few birthday’s leading up to Christmas which was fun and Oscar likes to be apart of them, open the presents for other people and blow out there candles.  I am starting to see more of his personality shine through.  He is wild, loud, a total show-off and glass is always half empty!  More about that when I write about Christmas Day!
Daisy is mental and I was saying to hubby last night that I don’t really understand or feel like I know her personality too.  She is perhaps a perfectionist, striving for everything to go the way she wants, but if it doesn’t go as hoped then we have a massive break-down which takes a lot work to calm down.  I fear this is maybe my personality coming through in Daisy and Oscar is a mini John.  At least I can look at Daisy and she makes my heart melt when she opens her mouth and the cutest high pitched voice comes out.  She is very affectionate and loves her cuddles. Any way, we are running up the end of the year and I am hoping that 2012 will be a lot calmer than 2011.  It has been a very crazy year.  But for now here is a week running up to Christmas Day.

Oscar in the nursery nativity, the messenger.  He wore curtains.  Awesome!  Oscar no longer wear pants he’s a big boy in his boxers.

 Like father like son…

The concentration to get it all in your mouth
