Timeless, elegant and creative storytelling

Hello, I am Linzie

Welcome to my little world of photography.  It is hard to write an  "about me" page so I will keep it simple and we can go from there.

I was born in Iran (that's a story for another time)  to an Australian Dad and Scottish Mum.  I always had an Australian passport despite living in Scotland most of my life. I always knew when I was young that all I ever wanted to do was travel.  One way or another.  So I am pretty lucky that my job allows me to travel to amazing places and be around very happy people.  I love meeting new people, hold and cuddle the cutest babies and then play on the beach with families.  I spend most of the year travelling around Australia, but then in July I usually head back to Scotland capture weddings, babies, families and (occassionally) hold the odd workshop.

My working style is very friendly, relaxed and natural.  I want to tell your unique story and give you photos that show not only how you looked on the day but also how you felt.  Most people don't like getting their photos taken.  That's no problem for me.  I know I can make you laugh, make you forget about your nerves or insecurities in order to capture you at your most natural and of course beautiful.

I want to be able to give you the memories for your children and your children's children to look back on and see how we all were in this life.

I am  hard working, very  passionate and always seeking perfection.   I live by the beach, spend my days editing, taking photos, running, cycling, going to the beach, hanging out with my family, walking my pug Dougie or watching a good TV show on Netflix.  I get crazy excited over simple things like pretty light and sunsets.  I am a lover of life and aim to make every second of being here count!  And let's not forget laughter, I love to laugh.  I love a really good laugh!
I love to work with people that know photography is an investment, especially on your wedding day.  I want to work with people who want to have fun, be creative and of course love my work.  If you think we would be good together then get in touch.   I think we could make some beautiful pictures together...

First comes love, second comes marriage…

Don't marry the person you think you can live with; marry the person you think you can't live without.

Wedding's are one of the few occassion's that bring everyone together for love; problems are momemntarily forgotten, families unite love fills the room and happiness is shared.

This is why I love doing them.  Who wouldn't want to spend a day with lots of happy people and people in love.  I love to tell the story as it unfolds and keep it as natural as possible.  My style is fresh, light and colourful, with a little black and white, and plenty of love through out the whole process.

Capturing memories that last a lifetime.

Packages starting at $2900 or an hourly rate of $600

Third comes the baby in the golden carriage

You're love evolves from being just two into three, four, mabye a few more. Some are even fur babies! I love nothing more than capturing a beautiful bump, then the first week or two of your beautiful creation.

There is something so magical about these moments that I get all crazy excited when I am in the moment.

Maternity sessions at sunset, I have the beautiful skirts and tops for you to wear because let's face it at this point in your pregnancy you aren't really wanting to buy new clothes!

Newborns can be done in your home or my home studio in Mooloolaba .  Which ever is best suited to you.  I can do it anywhere.  These are best captured before 14 days to get your best in the poses and newness.  But I don't descriminate on age, so can do it whenever.  But if you can best to do it before they get past 2 weeks of age.

That’s not all, thats not all…

Your family.  Just because there is no pregnancy, birth or newborn doesn't mean you shouldn't document your families growth.  We all have a million images these days on our phone. How many do we print?  How often do you look at the family photos and see so many with you not in them because you are taking them.

Well it is time to get out from behind the camera, put on something nice and get toether for some lovely photos that your children and granchildren will treasure.  We do this for the next generation too. Let's make some history!
